Washing more carefully saves both energy and unnecessary wear and tear on your clothes. That's why we've gathered some clever tips to wash smarter. 

Tip 1: Keep microfibres out of the ocean by using a washing bag for your synthetics and activewear. 

Tip 2: To save energy, always fill your washing machine. But don’t overload.

Tip 3: Wash on low temperatures to save money, energy and unnecessary wear and tear. 

Tip 4: Skip the fabric softener to protect your clothes and the ocean. 

Tip 5: Because detergents are highly concentrated, you need less than you think.

Tip 6: Avoid tumble drying to save money, energy and your delicate fabrics.

1. Washing:

 

Turn the garment inside out before washing to protect the DTF print.

Machine wash in cold water with similar colors.

Use a gentle cycle to prevent excessive agitation.

Avoid using bleach or harsh detergents as they can fade the print and affect the fabric's quality.

2. Drying:

 

Air drying is highly recommended. Hang your garments in a shaded area away from direct sunlight.

If you choose to use a dryer, select the lowest heat setting to prevent damage to the DTF print and fabric.

3. Ironing:

 

Iron the garment inside out at a low temperature setting. Avoid ironing directly on the DTF print to prevent any distortion or damage.

4. Handling:

 

Handle the garment with care to prevent pulling or stretching of the fabric, which can impact the DTF print's quality.

5. Avoid Overwashing:

 

Washing your garments too frequently can lead to premature fading and wear of the print. Only wash when necessary.

6. Storing:

 

Store your DTF printed clothing in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
